This is the yellow 1973 Mustang from the original Eleanor from the independent filmmaker H.B. "Toby" Halicki's 1974 film
. There were actually two Mustangs used in the film. One, this one was the "beauty" version which was used for up-close detail shots. The other was the "stunt" version which was fitted with a full roll cage along with many other safety and suspension modifications. The cars where really 1971 Mustangs fitted with 1973 trim. In the film, the main character stole 48 high end valuable cars in just days for a client. The most infamous would be this 1973 Mustang "Last of the Mustangs". It was considered important as it was the last of the Mustangs because the Mustang II arrives in 1974. That's Toby Halicki in the photo as he was the main character in the movie. This car is said to have been crushed after the movie according to Toby.

Silver 1974 Mustang II notchback coupe owned by Dale Dockus from Memphis, Tennessee. It has the 2.8L V6 engine and an automatic transmission. Dale tells us more, "I purchased this from original owner in 2006, but blew a rod on drive back to Memphis! Replaced block before bringing home. Repainted August 2009. My wife had bought an original Mustang II in 1974 but it rusted out!"

Dark Yellow Green 1974 Mustang II showing the standard 1974 hubcap which featured a galloping horse on a red background center medallion. This was the first year of the Mustang II which had a complete redesign which replaced the fastback with a hatchback. Although all the designs continued to have a long hood and short back deck.

Medium Goldenrod 1974 Mustang II hatchback with a 88hp (at 4000rpm), 2.3 liter (140ci), 2 barrel, 4 cylinder engine. This car has the optional bumper guards, pin stripes, and fog lamps. There is only 54,814 miles on this car, it has been kept in a garage so the paint is still very bright.

This is the bigger of two engines offered on the 1974 Mustang II. It;s the optional 105hp 6-cylinder! It was rated at 170hp (4000rpm) and 140ft-lb of torque (3200rpm). It had a 2 barrel carburetor.
