Magazine ad featuring a Caspian Blue 1965 Mustang hardtop. It is titled, "Desmond was afraid to let the cat out... until he got his Mustang." It goes on to say, "Mustang! A car to make weak men strong, strong men invincible." According to the ad, Desmond here was able to trade his cat for a girl after getting a Mustang.

A spirited Mustang hardtop Ford will be given in prizes every week. Read the instructions below and enter the contest as often as you like, it is very easy. Maybe you're one of the lucky winners. This ad says that 15 of the unique blue and white 1965 Mustang Player's special edition hardtops will be given away weekly between June 16th and September 22nd, 1965. Player's promotions like this occurred in many Providences in Canada between 1965 and 1968.

This ad shows the Player's Mustang-a-Week contest held in Ontario. The first of 15 blue and white 1965 Mustangs were given away between June 2nd, 1965 and September 8th, 1965. The Player's Mustang contest was held in many Canadian Providences in 1965 and 1968 according to the viewer who send us these ads after he contacted the Imperial Tobacco company. He also found ads for this promotion in 1966 and 1967.

This newspaper shows Mr. Jack Idler of Riverside Ontario being handed the keys to a blue and white 1965 Mustang Player's special edition hardtop. The viewer who sent this set of advertisements in told us that he talked with Jack Idler in early 2007 about his car that was under a tarp for the last 15 years and needed a full restoration. The current whereabouts of the car is unknown.

This magazine ad says that the sophisticated looks and luxuries of the Mustang give you a new gleam in your eyes and you can have more fun. That must be here "having fun" dress? She parked on a dirt road and is having fun? I like the first line, "Life was just one diaper after another until Sarah got her new Mustang."

The second set of Mustangs converted for the Magic Skyway at the 1964 World's Fair where 1965 models. Twelve 1965 Mustang convertibles were sent to Carron & Company for conversion for the Disney designed ride. Eleven made it to the fair.
