The rear shot of this die-cast 1970 Sidewinder Special Mustang is quite detailed. The Mustang lettering are decals or paint and the tri-bar pony gas cap has a red and blue stripe. The Nebraska license plate is explained by Sidewinder expert, David Charlier, as the order district (DSO) of this special.

There is a spare tire and jack in the trunk. The Sidewinder fender graphic is also visible here.

Here is a nice close-up of the Sidewinder fender graphic. For being a quarter of an inch long on this model, it's pretty detailed.

The interior is black. It has the nice stock floor mounted automatic shifter and center console with storage compartment.

The interior is equally impressive from the passenger side door. It has nice high bucket seats and a clock in the center of the passenger side dash. Check out the next shot for a close-up of that clock.
(from page 34 of the 1970 Collection)
Smack in the middle of the passenger side dash is this optional clock. That hour hand is tiny. I bet it is hard to read from way over on the driver's side of the car.
