(from page 7 of the 1972 Collection) Ivy Glow 1972 Mustang notchback owned by Zak from Seattle, Washington. It has the original 351ci-2V engine and an automatic transmission. Zak tells us, "I bought this car when I was 15 years old in May of 2012 when I didn't even have my drivers permit. We found it just up the street from where I live. It was sitting outside under a car cover for five years. The owner was offering $1,500. It was not running at the time. The car only needed a new set of tires, new fluids, fuel pump, battery, windshield wipers and a rebuilt carburetor. Cosmetically the car just needed a wash, wax and vacuuming. Other then that, the interior and exterior are virtually untouched since purchased. I later painted the vinyl roof and put a seal around the sunroof. The sunroof and baby moon rims were already put on when I bought the car. The car has the original paint (never repainted), factory A/C, shop manuals, owners manual, wiring diagram, documentation, spare tire, original hub caps (not currently installed), and original AM radio (not currently installed). I am currently a member of Pacific Cascade Mustang Club since February of 2013. The car is great and I love to drive it when the weather is good!"

(from page 7 of the 1972 Collection) Here is Zak's Ivy Glow 1972 Mustang on display at a car show.

(from page 7 of the 1972 Collection) It has an automatic and a small center console. I believe the black console is aftermarket.

(from page 7 of the 1972 Collection) The engine is a 351ci 2V V8. It was originally rated at 168 horsepower.

(from page 7 of the 1972 Collection) Zak received a heap of documentation with the Mustang. He has all five volumes of the 1972 Mustang Ford Shop Manuals; volume 1 chassis, volume 2 engine, volume 3 electrical, volume 4 body, and volume 5 pre-delivery, maintenance, and lubrication. He as the owners manual, original owner's warranty identification card, and a stack of maintenance receipts.

(from page 1 of the 1974 Collection) Silver 1974 Mustang II notchback coupe owned by Dale Dockus from Memphis, Tennessee. It has the 2.8L V6 engine and an automatic transmission. Dale tells us more, "I purchased this from original owner in 2006, but blew a rod on drive back to Memphis! Replaced block before bringing home. Repainted August 2009. My wife had bought an original Mustang II in 1974 but it rusted out!"

This was the first year of the Mustang II which had a complete redesign which replaced the fastback with a hatchback. Although all the designs continued to have a long hood and short back deck.
