This AM radio was an option in 1964. In this shot you can see the labels on the climate controls. The slide knobs say; Heat, Temp, and Def. There is also a button over the Temp control. Can anyone please leave a comment and explain how each of these controls is used?

This data plate is located on the rear end of the driver's side door. The body type of 65A is the 1965 (late 64) body with standard seats. Color of C is for Pace Car White. Trim of 42 is white vinyl with blue trim. Date of 13D is for a build date of April 13th 1964. DSO of 51 is for the Denver district. The axle 1 has a 3.00 gears. And the transmission of 6 is for the automatic.

This mustang has a bench seat. The interior code was originally 89 which is Palomino Vinyl with Palomino Trim. It has been recovered in a black and red vinyl trim.

This is the standard instrument arrangement for the 1964 Mustang. A 5-gauge arrangement was an option in 1965 then standard equipment on the 1966 Mustangs.

This is a Phoenician Yellow 1964 Mustang convertible shown at the 10th annual River City Mustang and All Ford Show at Uftring Ford in East Peoria, Illinois. The show was held on September 20th. It was overcast most of the morning. It was raining when I arrived to take photos.

Dynasty Green 1964 Mustang hardtop with a black interior. This car still wears most of it's original paint. Only the left front fender was repainted around 1970. It only has 54,121 miles on the clock.

1964 Indianapolis Pace Car replica at the 2010 Mustang Club of America, Grand Nationals car show held in Bellevue, Washington. About 200 of these pace car hardtops were awarded to Ford dealerships around the nation having good sales in early 1964. Features included special C-code Pace Car White exterior paint, 260ci 2 barrel V8 engine, white interior with blue accents, automatic transmission, power steering, rear backup lights, spinnerless full wheel covers, side view mirror delete, AM radio, and Pace Car decals.
