(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) The rear bumper, tail lights, reverse lights, gas cap, and trunk lock are installed.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) The side chrome trim and door hardware are installed.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Carson has his Grabber Blue 1965 Mustang hardtop all put back together.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) The interior is in. The car came out great!

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Grabber Blue 1965 Mustang hardtop, rear end view.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Carson sends us some updated shots of the engine and interior in his 1965 Mustang hardtop. The engine is a Jasper 289ci V8.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Check out this interior. It is black with lots of grabber blue accents.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) The lower (metal) part of the dash is painted grabber blue. So are the kick panels.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Here is a shot of the rear seat. It's a pony interior!

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Twilight Turquoise 1965 T-5 hardtop owned by Julien S from France! This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting September 12, 2010. The T-5 was name for the Mustang as it was sold in Germany. This one has a 200ci 6-cylinder engine and a manual transmission.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Julien's Twilight Turquoise 1965 T-5 hardtop is void of all "Mustang" wording. It has T-5 emblems on the front fenders. There is a little 65 hardtop on the dash.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Julien's Twilight Turquoise 1965 T-5 hardtop in next to a brick wall.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) This was taken before the GT style fog lights were installed.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) Here is the T-5 fender emblem.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) The gas cap on a T-5 has the Mustang letters removed.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) These were the original hub caps that came with the T-5. They have the Mustang letters removed as well.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) The center cap of the steering wheel has no Mustang letters.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) Check out the metric speedometer. It's marked out in km/hr instead of mile/hr. The ignition switch in the bottom of the photo is not used. A steering column locking version is installed below it on the steering column.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) The stock ignition switch on the 1965 Mustang wasn't good enough for the German market. This ignition switch was added to the steering column. Wiring was routed to it. It had an additional position called "Garage" - which the shown switch is currently in. This position locked the steering column and didn't allow the steering wheel to rotate. Check out the stop position? It's called "Halt". The key says "Taunus". Taunus was a 4-door Ford family car sold in Germany. I wonder if the ignition switch was from the Taunus? The lock is made by Neiman.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) Julien sends us a snapshot of the ID plate located on the top side of the fender of his T-5 hardtop. Most of it is in German.
