1969 Mach-1 mustang fastback painted Gulfstream Aqua. This Mach-1 has the 390ci V8 engine, 4-speed manual transmission, and a 3.25 rear. These car have some of the largest chin spoilers. You could plow snow with them.

Side pipes were popular in the 70s. Although you had to be very careful not to burn your pants when you got in or out of a hot car.
Take a look at this detailed engine compartment. That is a 390ci engine.
A peek inside at the deluxe black interior. It has two big instrument pods. One for the engine RPM, and one for the ground speed.

One location for the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is on the driver's side dash were it can be seen through the window. Let's decode it. The 9 is for the 1969 model year. T is for the Dearborn Michigan assembly plant. 02 is for the fastback body style. S is the 390ci 320hp V8 engine. 217729 is the sequential unit number.
The door data tag reads: 63C Mach 1 fastback body style, F Gulfstream Aqua Blue exterior paint, 5 blacked out hood, 3A black interior trim, 23G assembled on the 23rd of July, 15 ordered in the Newark area, 9 3.25:1 rear axle, and 5 five speed wide ratio manual transmission.
Take a look at this vintage shot of John Farrace's 1969 Mustang fastback taken back in 1984 when the previous owner (shown) put it into storage. John says, "It pretty much looks the same today. I purchased the car from her grandson who received the car via her will." Here is the kicker... It was built at the San Jose plant under Los Angeles Ordering District under special order #0084 and the car has a special order paint WT6210. WT6120 is a bright yellow paint, in fact, it is the same paint that Caterpillar Inc. uses on it's earth moving equipment. John plans to send more photos when his restoration is complete.
John Farrace shares photos of his newly restored special order yellow 1969 Mustang fastback. John says that is stock bar the wheels, sport mirrors, dual exhaust and radio. This is a special order paint WT6210. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting May 29, 2011.
