1983 Mustang GT 1983 Mustang GT 5.0 with 4-speed manual transmission repainted redfire, but the GT specific black frames around the windshield and and doors remain. This photo shows the new aerodynamically design front of the 1983 Mustang with deeply recessed headlamp housings. This was the only year Mustang did not offer fog lamps. This Mustang has 1991-1993 GT/LX alloy wheels.

Midnight Blue 1983 Mustang GLX Convertible Midnight Blue 1983 Mustang GLX convertible owned by Don Barnes from Oakland, Tennessee. He calls it "Sally". Don purchased it new in February 1983, and I still owns it to this day. It has it's original 5.0L (302ci) engine.
Midnight Blue 83 Mustang GLX Convertible Don's 1983 Mustang GLX convertible still has it's original code-3L Midnight Blue Metallic paint and code-B Cadet Blue interior. The convertible top is blue too. That makes it a triple-blue Mustang convertible.

Polar White 1983 Mustang II Polar White 1983 Mustang hatchback with a 105hp (at 400rpm), 232 cubic inch, 3.8 liter V6 engine. This car has the optional wide bodyside moldings ($39 originally).

dash close-up view Close-up of the dash showing the optional tachometer, air conditioning, automatic transmission, center console, and someone stole my radio which originally came as none ($61 credit), AM/FM only ($82), AM/FM stereo ($105), 8-track or cassette player (with stereo for additional $199), or the "premium" sound system ($117). In the console for air conditioned models (otherwise in the dash) was the "Safety Convenience Panel" or the "Convenience Control Panel" which had lights showing the status of light bulbs, fuel, etc.

Safety Convenience Panel "Safety Convenience Panel" or the "Convenience Control Panel" which had lights showing the status of light bulbs, fuel, etc. Earliest models (1967, 1968, 1969) of this panel had 4 status lights (belts, brake, fuel and door).

Dark Academy Blue 1983 Mustang Dark Academy Blue 1983 Mustang notchback owned by Al Kruse. It has a V6 engine! This car still has all it's original equipment and just under 49,000 miles on the clock.
