It has Mach 1 decals on the front fenders behind the front wheels. The Ford paint code for Light Pewter Silver is
M3314A.

There is another decal in the center if the trunk lid.

Under the hood is the C-code 429ci Cobra Jet engine. It puts out 370hp.

Inside is the Mach 1 sport interior. It is RED!

The dash looks great. It has a tach in the left instrument pod.

What car isn't complete, unless it has a Hurst shifter!

This is a close-up of the power windows master control on the driver's door. there is even a lock on it. Strange order of windows. The rear most switch (on the left) operates the driver's side front window.

The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is located on top of the dash on the driver's side. It can be seen through the windshield from the outside of the car. Let's decode it! The
1 is for the 1971 model year.
F is for the Dearborn, Michigan assembly plant.
05 is for the Mach 1 body style.
C is for the optional Cobra Het 429 370hp V8 engine.

This is the Vehicle Certification Tag which is located in the inner rear edge of the driver's side door. The label is critical in determining what the car originally came with. The body is

1971 Ford Mustang V8 302ci, 121194 original miles, C-4 automatic, new torque converter, new front and rear transmission seals, new rear drums, tires are about 80%, seats and headliners are like new, some rust on front engine compartment sheet metal, easy fix, underneath of vehicle is very solid with original under coating in good condition, had new quarter panels installed, runs very nice, need the room for my other 15 vehicles.

The standard Mach 1 options include: Competition suspension, color keyed spoiler & bumpers, color keyed racing mirrors, NACA type hood scoops, grille Sportlamps, and high back bucket seats. Other factory options include: power steering, power front disc brakes, Magnum 500 chrome wheels, Wide Oval belted tires, Mach 1 Sports interior group, console, rear deck spoiler, and an AM radio.
