1971 Mustang Grande options include dual accent paint stripe, full wheel covers, dual color-keyed racing mirrors, lower back panel appliques, wheel lip and rocker panel moldings. Standard was the 250ci 6-cylinder. This one has the optional F-code, 302ci V8 and bumper guards.

The interior of the Grande came in 5 colors. This one is code 4F, Medium Ginger Cloth and Vinyl.

This 1971 Mustang Grande door data tag. The "04" in the VIN and the body code of "65F" show this is a Grande hardtop body style. The second F in the VIN indicates the engine is a 302ci V8. Color code of "8" is Ford M3198 Light Gold exterior paint. Axle code "O" for the 3.00L (Limited Slip Differential). Transmission code "W" for the C4 automatic. And DSO of "38" shows the car was originally destined for Pittsburgh.
