Here is a close-up view of the door showing off the Sunlit Gold exterior paint and a bit of the black side C-stripe.
Here is the door data tag which confirms this car is a Golden Nugget Special. The special order number 1111 after the order district code of 74 for Seattle was reserved for this special promotion. The promotion featured the 289 cubic inch 2V V8 engine, C4 automatic transmission, louvered hood, black stripes, black vinyl top, black interior, and featured unique golden plaques on the dashboard with the original owner's name engraved. 525 Golden Nugget Limited Edition Mustangs were offered.
    
This Candy Apple Red 1968 Shelby GT-500KR fastback was on display at the 2010 Mustang & Ford card show at Uftring Ford in East Peoria, Illinois. It had a tan interior and 428ci engine.

Nice. This GT-500KR has chrome exhaust and lots of scoops on the side.
    
The fastback model had a huge rear window.
On the front fender is this 428 Cobra Jet emblem and the GT-500KR rocker decals.
The sides had these quarter window scoops and scoops in front of the wheels. These even had a roll bar installed at the factory. The racing harness was attached to the roll bar.

The interior is tan and black. It has the Deluxe interior.
    
Check out this Seafoam Green 1968 Mustang hardtop. It was about to leave the 2010 Uftring Ford car show in East Peoria, Illinois. I quickly walked over and shot some photos. I had never seen this unusual color in person before. It is a very light shade of green.

Candy Apple Red 1968 Mustang Shelby GT-500 convertible with white stripes and a white convertible top. This one has the super cool 10-spoke Shelby wheels. These came stock with the car back in 1968! This car was on display at the 2010 Mustang and Ford car show at Uftring Ford in East Peoria, Illinois.
    
This GT-500 convertible looks good from this angle too.
This Cobra Emblem and GT-500 wording in the rocker stripes are found on the front fenders. I see my shoes!
The 1968 GT-500 had the 390, 427 or 428 engines. I don't know which this is.
