Another shot of "The Hogg" 1967 Shelby race car. The numbers "23" have been moved forward because there was a picture of "Boss Hogg" (played by Bert Reynolds) on the door. Check out the NASCAR style wheels. For the movie the headlights and taillights were covered with aluminum plates.

Rear end view of the "Boss Hogg" Shelby race car.
Here are the taillight and headlight cover plates used in the movie. They are sitting in the trunk.
Under the hood is a 302ci V8 engine.
Just the racing basics in here. Check out the water bottle holder in the center console. Two pedals. One for go. One for stop.
No rear seat. Just roll cage.
Here's some shots from the movie. The top two are Billy Prickett driving "The Hogg". The lower one is of the cars parked waiting for another movie shoot. The shelby is getting some work done to the front end. In this shot the Boss Hogg sticker is on the doors. So, how was the "Dukes of Hazzard" 2005 movie? I liked it. I have the DVD.

Here is the "Dukes of Hazzard", 2005 movie car at the 2010 Mustang Roundup car show in Bellevue, Washington. It is a 1967 Mustang fastback cloned into a GT500. Look back to the first photo of this car in California to see the dirt on the side 23 is the same, movie prop magic.

Front view showing the hood scoop, hood pins, and front fog lamp plates.
Here is a photo I took of the basic interior. The dash is a bit washed out, the steering wheel is off, there are metal door panels, and a center console drink holder. The earlier picture of this interior from California shows the open radio dash hole being used as a bottled water holder.
This view shows the front seats, no back seats though. There is a battery in the back seat.
René sent us an amazing picture of this 1967 Lime Gold convertible Mustang. This features a 289ci V8 engine, full deluxe wheel covers and bright rocker panel molding.
Nice picture of the back of this 1967 Lime Gold Mustang with dual exhaust.

GTA options on this car include automatic transmission, grille mounted fog lamps, steel styled wheels, white GT rocker panel side stripe, GTA emblems, interior interior group, and a 289ci V8 engine that has recently been upgraded.

Right rear view of a Sauterne Gold 1967 Mustang GTA hardtop. The dual exhaust on this car comes out below the rear valance. It was an option 1967 to have the dual exhaust come through the valance with chrome trimmed holes.

Rear view showing off the GT gas cap.

1967 Sauterne Gold Mustang GTA hardtop, left side view. In the sun, there is a hint of gold in this color. See our other Sauterne Gold Mustangs on this site for other views of this color.
