This smaller Shelby GT-350 emblem is on the front fenders, just behind the front wheels.
Two different engines where offered on the 1967 Shelby. The GT-350 came with the 289ci 306hp V8 (like this photo). The GT-500 cam with the 248ci 355hp V8 Police Interceptor engine.
On top of the driver's side inner fender liner (under the hood) is this Shelby VIN tag. It says, 67200F7A01385. Let's decode it! The
67 is for the 1967 model year.
2 is for the 289 GT-350 engine. The first
0 is for the 4-speed manual transmission. The second
0 is for a base vehicle without air conditioning nor emission control.
F is for the fastback body style.
7 is for the Lime Gold paint.
A is for the black interior. The last 5 digits
01385 is the sequential Shelby unit number.
The interior is black in color. There is a Cobra snake in the center of the wood steering wheel.
Here is a close-up of the original push button AM radio and extra gauges. The gauges are for oil pressure and alternator current.
A peek into the trunk. The spare tire takes up most of the room. The gas cap is in the rear of these cars.

The colors may have been the three new revved-up shades of Tussy lipstick: Racy Pink, Shimmery Racy Pink Frosted, and Defroster. This ad is from the September 1966 edition of the Seventeen magazine. The date of this ad may explain the use of a 1966 Mustang in the photos.
This September 1966 ad for the Tussy Sweepstakes ad shows a 1966 pink Mustang. The three winners got a 1967 Mustang in their choice of paint which could have been one of three shades of pink.

Lime Gold 1967 Mustang fastback owned by Tom Brodersen from Davenport, Iowa. This is our featured
Attitude Of The Week for the week starting July 12, 2015. It has it's original 289ci V8 engine and an automatic transmission. Tom says,
"I bought it in 1980 in Anaheim, California. It is mostly original and unrestored. It does have fresh paint and I did rebuild the engine, but other than that, it is basically a survivor."
Dark Moss Green 1967 Mustang Shelby GT-500 fastback with white Shelby stripes and a black interior. It has the 428ci engine, 4-speed manual transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, folding rear seat, shoulder harnesses, factory roll cage, inboard headlights, AM radio, and Kelsey Hayes 5-spoke wheels.

There where two engines offered in the 1967 Shelby. This is the bigger of the two. It's a 355 horsepower 428 cubic-inch V8.
The interior is black. The other interior options were Parchment and White.
Nightmist Blue 1967 Mustang hardtop owned by Mike Shane from Manassas, Virginia. Powertrain is a 200ci 6-cylinder and an automatic transmission. It has a black vinyl top and a black interior. Mark adds,
"Nicely, but not fully restored. Very nice mustang in great condition. New paint job right down to the sheet metal. No body rust. Most interior components, body trim, engine components, suspension and exhaust are new. New tires and rims."
