(from page 10 of the 1972 Collection) Bright Yellow Gold or Gold Glow 1972 Mustang Grande hardtop with a black vinyl roof, wheel covers, pin striping, rocker and wheel lip moldings, and a 136hp (at 4000rpm), 302ci, 2 barrel V8 engine. Most Grande optioned Mustangs came with front and rear bumper guards, this one does not have them. This car has 32,500 miles on it and its all original but the front grille which got damaged in 1999. It was kept in the garage so the Bright Yellow Gold factory paint has not faded.

Although this car has been restored, this is the same special order color the car was originally painted. The wheels have been replaced.

This car has many of the 1972 Grande luxury options of bumper guards, pinstriping, and color keyed sport mirrors; but the 02 in the vehicle identification number indicates that this is a standard fastback not a Grande optioned hardtop. This car has been repainted a green that does not match any of the 1972 standard Mustang colors.

It has a 351ci 168hp V8 engine with an automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. It had a frame-on restoration to original specifications.

The pleasure of motion under control. Mustang drivers understand that. If all they wanted was to get from here to there, they'd be driving something else. Not a Ford Mustang."
