Braaksma of the Netherlands. 1979 was the last year of the T5 designation replacing the Mustang name in Germany. This car is one of 168 T5's delivered in 1979 and the only T5 currently registered. This amazing car is our Attitude Of The Week starting March 9th, 2019.

(from page 6 of the 1979 Collection) Check out this 1979 Mustang California Highway Patrol replica that Kelvin Bartley and his sons built. They live in Australia. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting July 31, 2011. Kelvin tells us more, "My two sons, Mitchell and Justin, helped me restore the car. Mitchell came up with the idea of a California Highway Patrol replica. I built the 347 stroker so we could enter the car in an event over here in Australia called Powercruise. It took about six months to get the Mustang completed and have now been to two of these events. The car was also featured in 'Street Fords Magazine' over here last month."

Elements include large 12 inch wide Gotti wheels, blanked off grille, hood louvers, rear facing shaker hood scoop, air-flow sealed headlamp trim, windows flush with outside body panels (the side windows are flip out), ten bulb rear light strip. Under the hood is a 132hp, 2.3L, turbo engine. Inside is a dark plexiglass covered instrument panel, a sport steering wheel, Recaro rally leather bucket seats. At the same time as this car was being shown, rumors of the Mustang McLaren were also out.


(from page 1 of the 1980 Collection) Check out this Black 1980 Cobra Mustang hatchback, it was our Attitude Of The Week for May, 17, 2009. Its owner says, I have owned the car since 1997. This 1980 Mustang Cobra represented the 1980 year in the 45 years of Mustang magazine. The 1980 Cobra package was patterned off the 1979 pace car model and came with dual sport mirrors, sport tuned exhaust with bright tailpipe extensions, forged metric aluminum wheels, special instrument cluster, 8000 rpm tachometer, and a 255ci, 4.2 liter, V8 engine. This car has optional rear quarter window louvers.


(from page 1 of the 1980 Collection) Medium Blue Glow 1980 Mustang notchback owned by David from France! It has a 2.3L 4-cylinder turbo engine and an automatic. He resurrected it from a car cemetery in 2008 and painted it in 2009. He says he has a lot of fun with it.

Denis tells us more, "I bought this car in 2008. The previous owner painted the Cobra white and installed a 302 cid. The original color was Pewter and original engine was the 255 cid. It looked good from 20 feet. Options: power brakes, power steering, sun roof, and AM/FM CD (not original). In the future I will do a full restoration on this Cobra." Denis also owns a 1967 Mustang convertible that was our Attitude Of The Week back in April 2010.
