Sales catalog for the 2000 SVT Mustang Cobra. No wait, there was none. Only 300 Mustang Cobra-R's were built. So this sales catalog slipped by. Check out the Limited Edition Mystic Gold 2000 SVT Cobra Mustang. There is a photo of one, but were any actually built...

Although none were sold here is a Performance Red SVT Mustang Cobra. What was sold is the 300 Cobra-R models listed in this brochure.
Again, non were sold in 2000, this is a Crystal White SVT Mustang Cobra convertible.
Under the hood was to be a 302hp 32 valve 4.6L V8. Cool.
More information on the 302hp 32 valve 4.6L V8. This engine appeared on the 2001 SVT Mustang Cobra. The 2000 Cobra-R had a 385hp 5.4L V8.

Now this model, the Cobra-R, was sold in 2000; all in Performance Red. The text reads, Last built in 1995, the Cobra R returns to the SVT lineup for 2000. Production will take place in the spring and will be limited to 300 units. All 300 models of the 2000 SVT Mustang Cobra R will be painted Performance Red. Power will come from a 5.4-liter dual overhead cam 32-valve V8.
