Bright Yellow 1976 Mustang hatchback with T-tops, wire wheels, bumper guards, and fog lamps. All T-tops came with a black band just behind the openings in the roof which extended down between the side window and rear quarter window.
    
This is a Medium Gold 1976 Mustang II MPG notchback coupe. It has a cream interior and a cream colored vinyl top. MPG was a model name given to Mustang IIs with the base level 4-cylinder engine. The MPG came standard with the 2.97 rear and an automatic transmission (like this one). A manual transmission was optional.
The MPG emblem is a decal placed under the Mustang II emblems on the front fenders. This car still retains it's original paint, so the emblem placement was done by the factory.

Under the hood is this little 4-cylinder engine. It is 140ci and was rated at 93 horsepower. This car is spotless!
Here is a view of the right side of the 4-cylinder engine. Is that the power steering pump way down low on this side?
The interior is a cream tan color.

What's in the trunk? Not much.
This data tag is located on the rear end of the driver's side door. This car was built in November of 1975. The color of DV is for the Medium Gold lower paint. The color DV is for the tan colored vinyl top, D is for Levant Full size vinyl top, and V is the Cream color vinyl top. The BV trim is for the Cream Mateao/Corinthian Vinyl interior.
