Another view showing one of the many lines of Mustangs at the 2010 MCA Grand Nationals.
A look at the interior through the glass shows it primarily white with blue accents such as carpeting.
View of the Pace Car replica's 1964, Ford, Mustang, F-code, 260 cubic inch, 2 barrel, V8 engine.
Close-up of the full wheel covers and part of the side lettering.

Left front view of a customized Poppy Red 1964 Mustang hardtop. I wish I took these photos in the sun, the Poppy Red has quite a bit of orange in it.
The original V8 engine has had a lot of chrome added to it.
Close-up of the custom wheels matching the low side stripe. A stripe similar to this was part of the 1965 GT package which was originally from the Ford Racing team. This photo really shows off the orange in the Poppy red paint. This car was repainted.

Vintage Burgundy 1964 Mustang hardtop at the 2010 Mustang Club of America Grand Nationals car show held in Bellevue, Washington. Those are the standard, base level wheel covers. There was an upgrade which added spinners and larger sized versions of these wheels.
Here is the 1964, 289ci V8 engine with a generator instead of an alternator which was on all 1965+ Mustangs. There was a 2-barrel and 4-barrel version of this engine.

Poppy Red 1964 Mustang convertible photographed at the 2010 Mustang Club of America Grand Nationals car show held in Bellevue, Washington. The sun was out and you can really see the orange in this red paint. This car has a great white/parchment interior and steel styled wheels.

Rear right view of a Poppy Red 1964 Mustang convertible. That's a burgundy Cougar next to it.
289ci V8 with generator instead of the alternator found in 1965 models.
Nice interior with full center console, automatic transmission, AM radio, and color keyed seat belts.
The steel styled wheels sure look good on this car.
Wimbledon White 1964 Mustang hardtop featured at it's debut at the World's Fair in this magazine advertisement. It it titled, Mustang - exciting new car from Ford Motor Company... show stopper at the World's Fair The ad goes on to say, We think we have pretty fair grounds for showing off our Mustang at the World's Fair. The wonderland setting, our "wonder" car and the Ford Motor Wonder Rotunda go together to sum up our feelings about new product ideas at Ford Motor Company. We plan them - from a standpoint of over-all design and engineering - to be nothing short of wonderful. Like the Mustang, each of our new cars starts as an original idea, designed to answer your needs in a fresh, distinctive and satisfying way. Then we use the most advanced manufacturing and testing techniques to translate the idea into a fine-quality product. It's this kind of engineering excellence - from the start of an idea on - that puts tang in the Mustang, thunder in the Thunderbird and zest in all the rest of our Ford-built cars. When you visit our Wonder Rotunda at the Fair, you'll find another example of how we do things with extra flair. We seat you inside a new Ford-built convertible and whisk you over a Magic Skyway that takes you from the prehistoric past far into the city of the future. It's a trip that surpasses all expectations - which is what we want for you, at the Fair and in all the products we build.
That is Henry Ford II in front of the Ford Motor Wonder Rotunda at the introduction of the Mustang at the World's Fair in Flushing Meadows, New York, on April 17, 1964. In back (up high) is the Magic Skyway where you could ride in a bunch of different new Ford convertibles (including the Mustang) through Disney designed animated sets.
