A Prairie Bronze Mustang hardtop is shown on page 4 of the 1964 Ford Mustang promotional brochure.

Not sure what the top photo is suppose to mean. Maybe that the backseat is so comfortable, you'll want to drive from it. The truck is shown to hold a lot of groceries and a few hat boxes. The text reads,
Unexpected Price! $2368 This low price includes such a generous helping of basic equipment that many people will find nearly all they could ask for in the standard Mustang. Small wonder, because Mustang is so complete it includes many items which come on other cars only at extra cost or not at all...

This page of the 1964 Ford Mustang promotional booklet lists all the options. This was a pre-release brochure. I see there is a remote-control deck lid release, I don't think I have ever seen photos of this option.

This page of the 1964 Ford Mustang promotional brochure shows some of the options including: Rally Pac, Ford Air Conditioner, Convertible Power Top, Accent Stripe and Rocker Panel Molding Package. The top photo is shown the full center console, automatic transmission, AM radio, and color matched seat belts.

This page of the 1964 Ford Mustang promotional booklet shows a Raven Black 1964 Mustang hardtop with white vinyl roof, accent pin stripe, rocker panel trim, full wheel covers with spinners.
Unexpected Versatility! Never before has there been a car whose personality could change so easily to match you own. With Mustang options (previous pages) you can make Mustang rich enough for a rajah... or tiger enough for a rally buff...

Photos showing the roominess and hauling ability of the Mustang.
Practically Yours! Expect to see the Ford Mustang going everywhere... doing everything... with just about everybody. It's that kind of car! says this page of the 1964 Ford Mustang promotional booklet. The back seat looks like a prototype. Its not very deep. Counting the horizontal pleats or lines on the lower rear seat I count 9, on a real Mustang there are 12 or more.

This is 2 of six Mustangs shown on a double page spread of the 1964 Ford Mustang promotional booklet. I think the top is Pagoda Green and the bottom Rangoon Red. Both cars have the rocker panel trim option but the convertible has spinner options also.

This is another 2 of six Mustangs shown on a double page spread of the 1964 Ford Mustang promotional booklet. Vintage Burgundy hardtop is shown above a Wimbledon White hardtop. Both cars have the standard 13 inch full wheel covers and optional rocker panel trim.

Last 2 of six Mustangs shown on a double page spread of the 1964 Ford Mustang promotional booklet. The top is a Rangoon Red convertible with rocker panel trim and spinners. The lower car is a Sunlight Yellow hardtop.

The specifications and some option details are shown on the back cover of the 1964 Ford Mustang promotional booklet. I like the comment in the price:
Mustang includes heater-defroster and metal-to-metal black seat belts as standard equipment. However heater and/or seat belts may be deleted on car order if desired at an appropriate priced reduction. Will not see that statement today.

Dynasty Green 1964 Mustang hardtop with a black interior. This car still wears most of it's original paint. Only the left front fender was repainted around 1970. It only has 54,121 miles on the clock.

White reverse lights were optional in 1964.

This is the 2bbl 260ci V8 engine. It has both power steering and power brakes added by the dealer.

It has the basic black interior.

This is kind of a cool shot with the front fender of the Mustang in the blurry background. It has the D code paint - for Dynasty Green.
