Page 18 is one of two pages showing all the options for the 1982 Mustang. The top of the page features the AM/FM Stereo Radio with Cassette Player which is notes as uses space-saving 60-minute compact cassette tapes. Remember those tapes? They were so thin, they would always be breaking and or getting caught in the player mechanisms. Also featured is the Flip-up Open-air roof which opens part way for ventilation or can be completely removed to bring in fresh air and sunshine.
Page 19 is the second of two pages showing all the options of the 1982 Mustang. Featured options include: SelectAire Conditioner with manual controls to regulate heating, cooling, fresh air, defogging ad defrosting for year-round comfort. Tinted glass recommended. SelectShift Automatic Transmission gear selector. 5-Speed Manual Overdrive Transmission Overdrive gear reduces engine RPM, help improve highway fuel economy. and Wheel Covers/Wheels From top: Wire Wheel Covers; Turbine Wheel Covers, standard on GL, GLX; Forged Metric Aluminum Wheels; Styled Steel Wheels with Trim Rings; Cast Aluminum Wheels.

Cool Ford promotional photo of a Black 1983 Mustang GT Enduro with sunroof, hood pins, blue molding insert, gold lace-type wheels, hood vent, rear spoiler/wing, and "Mustang GT Enduro" on the side. Three of these performance GT's where built by Ford to promote its racing products and design. Two were red, one dark blue. The body was patterned off the 1980 SVO M81 McLaren.

Wilson Swilley owns this ultra rare 1982 Mustang GT Enduro. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting August 19, 2012. Only three of these were made; one blue and two in red. Wilson is an expert on these cars. Here is research on the car. They were used by Firestone as promotional car for their HPR tires during the 1982 IMSA race season.

The 1982 Ford Mustang C-code 5.0L High Output V8 has been modified with an Edelbrock performer intake manifold, Edelbrock 6000cfm carburetor, new crane cam, fire wire plug wires, billet Aluminum plug wire looms, stainless steel engine bolts, underdrive pulleys, alternator and voltage regulator, serpentine belt, crane Hi-Fi 9000-18000 volt ignition system, high performance clutch assembly, K&N air filter, and a new radiator and hoses.
