Look at this 5.4 liter 500 horsepower Supercharged GT500 engine!
All Red Stripe GT500s have a black interior so that these red seat and door inserts can be added.
Here is the data tag located in the driver's side door jamb. This Shelby GT-500 was built in July of 2008.
It's kind of hard to read, but this is the window sticker for when this car was new. The Red Stripe Package adds $1650 to the base Shelby price.
This is a Performance White 2009 Shelby GT-500 Red Stripe Edition coupe. Only 300 Shelbys will get the Red Stripe Package. It is only available on the Performance White or Black Shelbys. The Red Stripe Package contains; red over-the-top stripes, red GT-500 rocker tape stripes, red cobra snake & red Shelby emblems on the exterior, red seat inserts, the GT-500 premium interior package, and the full car cover. You can just make out the red snake on the grille in this shot. We have a close-up in another view of this car.
Front end view of this Performance White 2009 Shelby GT-500 Red Stripe Edition coupe. The "over the top" stripes extend onto the bumper and below the bumper. You can see the HID headlamp option in this shot. HID stands for High-Intensity Discharge. They have xenon gas in them and produce more light for a given level of power consumption than ordinary tungsten and tungsten-halogen bulbs.
Here is that close-up of the special red snake emblem in the grille which is part of the Shelby GT-500 Red Stripe Package.

The cobra snake emblem on the front fenders (just behind the wheels) are also red on the Red Stripe Packaged Shelbys.

The over=the-top dual red stripe extends right over the rear decklid spoiler onto the rear fascia and over the rear bumper. Both the snake in the faux fuel cover and rear Shelby emblem are also red on these special Red Stripe Shelbys.
The rear faux fuel cover has a red snake as part of the Red Stripe Package.
Here is a nice shot of the standard 5.4L V8 Supercharged Shelby engine. These are hand built. The front of the driver's side valve cover contains a tag where the two people who built this engine signed. We have a close-up in the next shot.
Here is the "Hand Built with Pride" metal tag found on the valve cover of these SVT engines. It was built by Gary and Jeff. Looks like they were signed with an engraver.
The interior is charcoal black with crimson red seat and door inserts. This is part of the Red Stripe package. This one has the GT500 Premier Interior Trim Package. This package includes wrapped and stitched instrument panel brow and center console, upgraded door armrests, auto-dimming rear view mirror with compass, and aluminum pedal covers. Pedals? I didn't know these were pedal cars.
Here is another shot of the special seats in this Red Stripe Shelby. They have red leather inserts.
At the top of seat is this embossed cobra snake. Pretty cool, eh?
Here is a shot of the dash. The steering wheel is stitched with red thread. This one has the Shaker 1000 Audio System. It has 1000 watts of power! It also has the 6-disc in-dash CD changer, MP3 capability, and 10 speakers!
There are a whole bunch of data and information decals in the driver's side door jamb. The middle one is the data tag. It contains information about the car as it was originally built. This one came off the assembly line in August of 2008. It has the HP Performance White exterior paint code.
The window sticker for this 2009 Shelby GT-500 Red Stripe Edition shows a final price of $48,545.
Black 2009 Roush Black Jack limited edition Mustang convertible. Only 100 of these Mustangs will be built in 2009. Under the hood is a 430hp (400 ft-lbs of torque) Roushcharged 4.6L V8. The Blackjack includes a black seven piece aerobody kit (front fascia, front chin spoiler, hood scoop, rocker panels, rear fascia valance and rear wing), lower valance fog lamps, black bar high flow grille, 18 inch forged black wheels with high performance tires and performance brakes, Roush locking lug nuts, high performance exhaust with chrome tips, Stage 3 emblems, and Roush interior options.| PrevYear |
