They include the 2.3 liter, 4-cylinder engine; cloth-trimmed bucket seats; full instrumentation including tachometer, oil, temperature, and battery gauges; AM/FM stereo; interval wipers; dual covered visor mirrors; digital clock; dual remote control mirrors; center console with armrest, ashtray, and lighter; and turbine wheel covers.

Controls for turn signals, high beam, flash-to-pass and interval wipers are mounted on the steering column. AM/FM stereo search radio with cassette player Dolby noise reduction and seven-band graphic equalizer and/or Premium Sound System with a four-channel power amplifier and six speakers.

This is the introduction text for the 1987 Ford Mustang GT. It shows an Oxford White Mustang GT convertible and a Mustang GT interior in Gray. Featured here is the Mustang GT drivetrain of a 225 horsepower engine with Borg-Warner 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive fifth and Traction-Lok rear axle and Goodyear Eagle unidirectional performance tires. The GT suspension (gas-pressurized struts and Ford Quadra-Shock setup with progressive rate springs and stabilizer bars), ground effects (lower body panels), and more dash idiot lights. On the interior are power adjustable lumbar support with adjustable thigh and side bolsters on the reclining seats. The steering wheel is also soft-wrapped.
