Same view again, but with the top up. The top has three plastic rear windows. I wonder how easy those are to see through. I bet they are a bit blurry.
Light Gray 1987 Mustang ACS McLaren convertible conversion roadster, left rear view. It says "ASC McLaren" on the rear bumper. Check out the next photo.
"acs McLaren" is embossed in red on the rear bumper.
The engine is a 5.0L V8. Nice and clean.
It has gray leather seats. The dash is two-tone dark gray over light gray. That's a 5-speed manual transmission.
A close-up of those gray leather seats. "asc McLaren" is stitched into the seat backs.
No rear seat in an ASC McLaren. Just this package tray with two storage compartments.
The rear storage compartments are open in this shot. Looks like two live-wells for fishing or two potty seats.

Check this one out. It's a 1987 Mustang LX notchback factory police car. This Mustang has the Special Service Package (SSP) from Ford. It was offered on the Mustang from 1982 through 1993. The package was only offered on the LX notchback with a 5.0L V8 engine. Special package features included; 0-140mph calibrated speedometer, metal disc brake rotor shields, front lower radiator air deflector, reinforced front floor pans, heavy-duty seats, heavy-duty Kevlar drive belt, heavy-duty belt tensioner, wheel ornaments, conventional spare tire, hood sound absorber delete, header hose inlet restrictor, Police special transistorized voltage regulator, and 15x7" heavy-duty steel wheels. The package included; aircraft type heater and radiator hose clamps, engine oil cooler, external transmission oil cooler, front wired speakers, full wheel covers, inoperative door courtesy light switches, radio noise suppression, relocated remote decklid release, single key locking system, and delete paint stripes.
This one was a Utah Highway Patrol Car. It has been repainted. The owner added the blue patrol lights on the headliner.

There are blue patrol lights on the rear package tray as well.
The seats are gray in color.
Part of the Special Service Package (SSP) is this 0-140 mile per hour calibrated speedometer.
The remote trunk switch on the right is also part of the Special Service Package. The blue switch is probably for the blue patrol lights that the owner added.
See the zippered pouch on the front edge of the rear seat? That is part of the seat cover. It holds a shot gun.
Here is the door tag for this 1987 Mustang LX SSP notchback. It has a 9L paint code for white.

This Scarlet Red 1987 Mustang Saleen hatchback was at the 2010 Mustang Roundup car show in the Seattle, Washington area. The poster in the front reads: 1987 Saleen Mustang #187. 1 of 6 red/gray, gold graphics and wheels with Escort Radar Detector. Total '87 Mustang production: 280. Damerow Ford: 8/26/1987. Saleen upgraded to five lug wheels and four wheel disc brakes for 1987. Ford brought the 5.0 liter to 225hp. Modification: caster/camber plates, 3.55:1 differential.
