Jalapena Red 1985 Mustang convertible owned by Jason Houston from Bakersfield, California. Jason tells us more,
"This 1985 Mustang 5.0 LX convertible was destined for the crusher. I rescued it for $100 thinking it might yield some parts. Instead, 16 months later, it's now the flagship of my fleet."

This is what Jason Houston's 1985 Mustang convertible looked like when he got it. Jason says that it was a California car with no rust and an excellent body. The Mustang needed a complete body/interior restoration. It was repainted to this light blue. Originally a dark navy blue. The V6 was replaced with a later V8 engine. It runs but needs a fuel pump. It has an automatic transmission.

Jason Huston sends us some updated shots of his Jalapena Red 1985 Mustang convertible. He has since added wire wheel covers. The top is down. Let's go for a ride!
