Ivy Green 1965 Mustang GT Fastback Ivy Green 1965 Mustang GT fastback owned by Johannes Mikkelsen from Denmark. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting January 26, 2020. Johannes tells us more, "It is a real GT and has the optional deluxe Pony Interior. We bought this car in 2018, from a guy in Austin Texas and had it shipped to Denmark. He had owned the car for 6 years, but only had interest in the car as an investment. The owner that had the car between 1991 and 2012 had the car restored. The car has 90% original sheet metal and 90% original interior which is really something special. The car has lived most its life in Louisville Kentucky. From 1965 to 2012. Its a high optioned car which include: A code engine, C4 automatic transmission, Interior decor group, full length console, GT Equipment Group, Rally Pac, Factory Air conditioner, Back up lamps, power steering, heavy duty battery, 2 speed wipers, rear seat belts, and inside day/nite mirror."

Dallas Red White and Blue 1965 Mustang Although not the original exterior paint, this may be an example of the 1965 Dallas Red White and Blue promotional sale Mustang. This 1965 Mustang GT has the c-code, 195hp 289ci V8 under the hood, has the blue vinyl with blue trim, and GT fender badge with low side stripe. Brian and his family have owned the car since 2008 but followed the car's history since 1977. It was repainted prior to 1977. The original paint color is unknown but due to the name of the promotion, we believe it to have been red, white, blue or some combination. We have some information from a possible other Dallas Red White and Blue that the blue was 1965 Ford Truck Marlin blue M1742.
1965 Dallas Red White and Blue Mustang GT convertible View of the side showing the GT fender emblem and lower side stripe. Again, this car has been repainted and the original color is unknown. The door data tag reads 76A = convertible, blank = special order paint, 22 = blue interior trim, 09T = build date of June 9th of 1965, 613990 = Dallas area special order 3990, 1 = 3.00:1 axle, and 5 = 4-speed manual transmission. The build date of this car and the other possible Dallas Red White and Blue special of May 22, 1965 is right for a 4th of July special sale.
