This is a Laser Red 1999 Mustang V6 convertible. Laser Red is one of three red colors available for the 1999 Mustang. This one has a tan interior and tan convertible top.

Under the hood is the base level 3.8L V6 engine.
The interior is tan. Tan interiors were very popular at this time. It seemed as if any car in any color could be ordered with a tan interior.

Electric Green 1999 SVT Cobra convertible owned by Brian Kessler from London West Virginia. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting December 8, 2013. Brian tells us, "Bought the car new. It only had 17 miles on it. Started modifying it about three months later. Started out with 4.30 gears. Then a nitrous system Kooks custom long tube headers and an X-pipe, Anderson Ford cold air intake, single blade throttle body 85mm mass air. Earlier this year had an accident had to change the front end to a 2003 cobra because the 99 was no longer available. Not long after that the motor blew. Got the MMR 5.0 stroker kit, new pistons, 65lb injectors, Diablo custom tuned chip, new valves and springs in the heads, new timing chain, bullet racing custom cams, and topped it off with a Pro Charger D1 set at 13lbs."

The S-351 Saleen comes standard with: 351ci 5.8L engine, Vortech supercharger, TFS twisted wedge heads, Saleen extrude honed intake, Saleen enhanced fuel and ignition system, 13-inch Alcon 4-piston brakes, Saleen lower rear control arms, Saleen swaybar, Saleen Racecraft struts and shocks, Saleen Racecraft springs, oil cooler, composite hood, boost and fuel pressure gauges, and Mach 460 stereo. Options for this particular car include: 3.55 gear, Tire upgrade with 10-inch rear wheels, Saleen floormats, Torsion differential, and Saleen Leather Recaro racing seats, and Carbon fiber mirrors.

The S-351 Saleen model comes with this 5.8L supercharged V8 engine. 5.8L is equal to 351 cubic inches. This big engine is rated at 495hp.
Here is a peek inside. It's tan in color with red accents on the doors.
Factory Saleen conversions have serial numbers. This one is 99-0014. The 99 part is for the model year. The 0014 is the sequential body number. This ID can be found in at least three places: the driver's side front bumper in big letter decals, under the hood on the firewall, and here on the center console.

This is a Limited Edition 35th Anniversary 1999 Mustang GT coupe. Ford only produced 4,628 of these Limited Edition 35th Anniversary GTs in 1999. This car was given features of the 2000 Mustang GT - such as the raised hood scoop, side scoops and raised spoiler. You could only get this Limited Edition car in red, black, silver, or white.
