Check it out! This is the 7-Up Mustang contest flyer. They advertised $20,000,000 in prizes! 1 in 12 bottle caps were winners. There were "instant win" caps where you could a 7-Up Spot stuffed animal or a special Wilson 7-Up basketball. Some caps said, "If the winning score is xx you win a Mustang" - you could win one of 30 Emerald Green 1990 Mustang convertibles (like Rob's). All you had to do was match your cap's score with the winning team's score in the final college basketball championship game.
Here's another version of the rules. This was probably a card that you could pick up where you purchased your 7-Up products.

Check out this Black 1990 25th Anniversary 5.0L LX convertible with aftermarket wheels. Many 1989 and 1990 Mustangs were designated as 25th Anniversary Mustangs. Look for the special badge on the dash. This car was photographed at the 2010 Mustang car show in Port Angeles, Washington. It was a little rainy, so the top is up.

Can't quite see the whole car, but you can see the luggage rack which was part of the 25th anniversary convertible. Those are aftermarket wheels.

This 1990 magazine ad shows an Oxford White 1990 Mustang LX convertible. It is "For those who like to raise the roof every now and then." It says that the power roof is "as exhilarating to open up as its feisty 2.3L engine." That is an interesting comparison.
