(from page 15 of the 1971 Collection) This Dusk Rose 1971 Mustang Mach 1 was originally purchased new by Lois Eminger. She worked for Ford and helped many Thunderbird and Mustang owners find original invoices. It was painted Dusk Rose to match her 1957 Dusk Rose Thunderbird. Paul Eminger, Lois's son, now owns this car. It was our Attitude Of The Week for the week starting July 18th, 2010. We met Paul and his car at the 2010 Mustang Club of America Grand National 30th Mustang car show in Bellevue, Washington. This year, Paul's car won first in its class of "Occasionally Driven".


(from page 1 of the 1972 Collection) White 1972 Mustang Sprint convertible owned by Rex Turner form Vienna, Virginia. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for January 20th, 2008. Rex tells us more, "I have owned this 1972 Sprint convertible for four years. It is one of fifty made for the DC Cherry Blossom Parade. The 72 sprints were made to commemorate the 72 Olympics. I am the 2nd owner and the car is unrestored." Check out the National Cherry Blossom Festival license plate on this car and the blooming cherry trees. Looks like Rex took this picture on a busy street. See the car coming in the background? Hurry up Rex and get out of the way! We also have a photo of this car and Rex's 1972 yellow Mach 1 together.

Rex has owned this Mach-1 for 26 years. It has a 351 Cobra Jet engine, Ram Air, FMX transmission, and the fold down seat.


(from page 2 of the 1972 Collection) Mustard Yellow 1972 Mach-1 fastback owned by Victor Wiley from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He's owned it since 1994. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week photo for the week starting 6-28-09. It has a Keith Craft 351 (408ci) Windsor engine that has 593 horsepower and 568 foot-pounds of torque. It puts 460 horsepower to the ground through a AOD transmission and 3.90 gears. It has a custom interior. He stored the original transmission, rear end, and Ram Air setup.


(from page 5 of the 1972 Collection) Grabber Blue 1972 Mustang Mach 1 fastback owned by Tim from Denver, Colorado. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the weeks starting December 19, 2010. The Mach 1 is parked in front of a wall mural of 50s film stars. With the help of site visitors, those are Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe (of course), and Marlon Brando. Tim's Mach 1 has it's original 351ci V8 engine and an automatic transmission.

This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting April 17, 2011. It still has it's original 4F code paint, 351ci Cobra Jet engine, and automatic transmission! John bought the car in October 2010 and had it shipped it to the Netherlands. So far John has worked on the floor sections cowl area.

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting January 25, 2015. It has a 351ci V8 Cobra Jet Q-code engine, 4-speed transmission, Argent silver stripes, Magnum 500 wheels, and a 3/4 black vinyl top. Frank is the second owner and he has owned it for 30 years!


(from page 7 of the 1972 Collection) Sapphire Blue 1972 Mach 1 Mustang fastback owned by David Pavlik from Cleveland, Ohio. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting February 13, 2017. It has it's original 248hp Cobra Jet 351ci 4-bbl V8 engine and an automatic transmission. David tells us more, "Bought it October 2015 from a lady in Rockport Ohio.. It was restored in 2002; Engine rebuilt, 30 CID bored over, Edelbrock carb and aluminum heads, competition cam, Headers and Flow Master Exhaust. Original color was 3J Medium Blue, now a Sapphire Blue. A northeast Ohio car all its life. I live 3 miles for the Ford Engine Plant. My grandfather retired from there in 1971. I drive by all the time and honk my horn as I scream past."

Jeff of Orange County, California sends us these photos of his Mustang which is our Attitude Of The Week starting February 2nd, 2019. Jeff tells us more: Purchased from second owner 10 miles from original dealership where car was sold new in Southern California. Car had sat for the last 30 years in garage partially disassembled. Went through a complete restoration including being stripped to bare metal and painted in the original Gold Glow factory color. Car is all original and has 84,000 original miles. Many factory options including Decor Group, body tape stripes, Magnum 500 wheels, Air Conditioning, AM/FM stereo and more. Complete matching numbers drive train and this is the Q code Cobra Jet. 1 of only 330 produced with engine and transmission combo...very rare.


(from page 1 of the 1973 Collection) 1973 Mustang convertible owned by Scott Walstedt from Canada. It has it's original 351ci V8 engine, air conditioning, and an AM/FM radio. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting October 17, 2010. Scott tells us more "I have owned this car for three years. I found here in Wisconsin needing a total resto. 60,000 original miles. Special order paint. There were only 114 with this paint code and trim. Only 277 with this paint code. All special paint codes were not marked on the data plate, so very few were painted this color. It is a pleasure to drive."

(from page 3 of the 1973 Collection) This special ordered Calypso Coral or Competition Orange 1973 Mustang Mach 1 is owned by Ron Hatchen of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada and was our Attitude Of The Week for August 23rd, 2009. Ron says, The car was purchased in 1993 as a #5 basket case it is now a #1 show car restored by me, to Mustang Club of America concours driven status. It has the following options: Ram-air, C-6 automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, front and rear spoilers, convenience group, Mach 1 sports interior, full gauges including tachometer, AM/8-track, console, rear window defrost, sport deck rear seat, interior decor group, rear bumper guards and Magnum 500's.


(from page 3 of the 1973 Collection) Bright Red 1973 Mustang convertible from Dirk Howard from Gilbert, Arizona. It has the original 351ci V8 engine and an automatic transmission. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting April 28, 2013. Dirk tells us, "It was a St. Louis MO rust bucket. I saw it restored on the internet for sale. Because it was kept stock, I had to buy it. It was a frame-off restore to fix a log of problems, mainly RUST. It has a 351C 2V engine, FMX transmission, Ram Air, 3.25:1 traction lock rear end, air conditioning, upgrades to disk brakes on front, slotted aluminum wheels, and stripes. The engine was overhauled and bored 030. The hood had factory flat black stripes. I decided to paint the stripes white. This car has been to several concourse shows and was never docked points for the hood being white. This Mustang has had it's picture taken with John Force, Miss Arizona, and even won a Chick Magnet award at a local car show. The Chick Magnet Award that was voted by a high school cheer leader squad. That is the most treasured award because they were not car buffs but people who really liked the car for what is is, a real good looking car!"


(from page 4 of the 1973 Collection) Light Pewter 1973 Mach 1 Mustang owned by Bill Pletcher from Lebanon, Pennsylvania. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting March 17, 2013. The body restoration was done in 2011 at The Auto Hut in Annville, Pennsylvania. During the restoration these items were added; front chin spoiler, hood pins (twist type), painted hood blackout, black rear window louvers, full center console with clock, radiator overflow tank, and two sets of wheels - 15" slotted aluminum (shown) and 15" magnum 500s. Performance items include; original performance 351ci Cleveland 2V V8(rebuilt 6/2/97 at 131,125 miles), ram air, Edelbrock performer intake with 4bbl 600 cfm carb, Petronix ignition, Hedman longtube headers, dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, Competition suspension, power steering, power front disc brakes, and FMX Cruise-O-Matic transmission (rebuilt Nov 2004).

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the Week starting July 7, 2013. Geary adds, "Purchased in 2010. Originally owned by Vic Edelbrock. It's all Edelbrock from Cam up. Big Show winner..."

This car's appearance has been modified, originally it was green with a tan interior, now factory Bright Red with a black interior although it does have its original Cobra Jet 248 hp (at 5400 rpm), 351 cubic inch, 4 barrel V8 engine.

(from page 11 of the 1973 Collection) This 1973 Mustang Mach-1 fastback is owned by Tom Gabor from Pennsylvania. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting April 24, 2011. Tom purchased it in Ohio and had it shipped to Pennsylvania. He has made some cosmetic and engine upgrades over the past couple years. The Mach-1 has a black interior, a 351ci Cleveland, and an automatic transmission.

It has a blacked out hood, Magnum 500 wheels, 351ci 4V V8 Cobra Jet engine, and is our Attitude Of The Week for the week starting October 2nd, 2011. It was a little overcast but the Gold Glow exterior paint really stood out.
