(from page 8 of the 1965 Collection) Check out this Wimbledon White 1965 Shelby GT-350 competition. It's owned by a site visitor in Palos Heights, Illinois. This was our featured Attitude Of the Week for the week starting November 14, 2010. The owner says that it is very correct with one exception - aluminum Z304 racing heads. He drives it everywhere! This photo is also our 12,000th Mustang photo posted to the site.

(from page 38 of the 1965 Collection) Although technically serial number 003, this Shelby Ford Mustang GT350 was the first unit completed and was used in publicity photos for the upcoming line of customized vehicles. Serial numbers 001 and 002 were completed later and were race versions. In 1979, this car was restored as a race car and raced. It was later discovered that it was originally built as the first street GT350. It will be restored to its original condition. We photographed this amazing car at the 2010 Mustang Club of America Grand Nationals car show held in Bellevue, Washington; and was our Attitude Of The Week for the week starting February 27th, 2011.

(from page 18 of the 1966 Collection) Sapphire Blue 1966 Shelby GT350 fastback owned by John Drysdale from New York. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting May 27, 2012. It has the original 289ci V8 and a manual transmission. John adds, "I just came to own it, but have known the car and family since 1972. It's a survivor car that's completely original and unrestored. It has always had TLC and never abused! It has 53000 'actual' Miles! With original docs. All the ones I see for sale have 30000-50000 miles! Seriously!! No way!! You better have a pile of paper work, oil changes and inspections to go with it."

(from page 6 of the 1967 Collection) Check out this amazingly restored Silver Frost 1967 Shelby GT350 Mustang fastback owned by Emmanuel Theux of Monte-Carlo, Monaco. There are several other darker gray 1967 Shelbys out there but this is the color and year that inspired the Eleanor Shelby used in the Nicolas Cage, 2000 movie Gone in 60 seconds which is also a light gray, but more accurately Eleanor Pepper Gray Dupont 44490. There is much confusion on what 1967 Shelby color code 6 for Medium Gray is. Marti confirmed with Emmanuel that over the years Ford color code M1901 Silver Frost had been mistaken for the correct Ford color code M1900 Thunderbird Charcoal Gray. (from page 5 of the 1968 Collection) The Wimbledon White with blue Lemans stripes 1968 Mustang Shelby GT-350. This Shelby has a 250 hp, 302 cubic inch, V8 engine; and was the Attitude Of The Week for 9-30-2007. In preparation for 1968 production, Shelby moved its manufacturing site from Southern California to Michigan due to the need of high quality fiberglass which was being used for more of the Shelby components. This car has the 15 x 7 inch 10-spoke aluminum wheels option.

(from page 15 of the 1968 Collection) Acapulco Blue 1968 Shelby GT-350 fastback owned by Denny Headley from Illinois. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting April 18, 2010. The car originally Lime Green, then painted white, then sat in a field for many years rotting away. The car was rescued from the field and restored. These photos were taken at the 7th Annual Main Street Fight Against Multiple Sclerosis Car Show held in Princeville, Illinois.

(from page 8 of the 1969 Collection) Grabber Orange 1969 Mustang Shelby GT350 convertible owned by Jim Srp from Boerne, Texas. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting April 3, 2011. Jim adds, "Purchased two years ago. It is an original Colorado car and owned by the same family since 1980. Ford produced only four Grabber Orange convertibles and this is one of two four speeds. All original parts, drivetrain and motor and just completed a frame off restoration."

The 1969/70 Shelby was the first Mustang to use Grabber Orange paint. This Shelby was also our featured Attitude Of The Week for December 23rd, 2007.

I took this photo at the 2019 North Olympics Mustangs car show in Port Angeles, Washington.
