Although technically serial number 003, this Shelby Ford Mustang GT350 was the first unit completed and was used in publicity photos for the upcoming line of customized vehicles. Serial numbers 001 and 002 were completed later and were race versions. In 1979, this car was restored as a race car and raced. It was later discovered that it was originally built as the first street GT350.

Check out this 2018 Shelby GT350 in Lead Foot gray exterior paint which was only available on the GT350. I took this photo at the 2019 North Olympics Mustangs car show in Port Angeles, Washington. This car was not in the show, but it was one of the amazing cars there and is our Attitude Of The Week starting May 15, 2019.

The black rear wing, roof, stripes, and wheels look great on this 2018 GT350 in Lead Foot gray exterior paint. That is the Strait of Juan de Fuca on the north side of Port Angeles, Washington. Canada is only a few miles north across the water.
