This is a 2001 Mustang Saleen S-281 Cobra convertible. That's a mouthful! This is a factory Saleen converted from an SVT Cobra convertible. It is serial number 01-309. This is a pretty rare car. Saleen only converted six Cobra convertibles in 2001.

This is the 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt hero promotional card. This car measures 8.5 by 11 inches and is folded to allow for 4 pages of print. Hero cards started with racing drivers and their cars and have been extended to promote sport cars from various manufacturers. This one features the first year of the Bullitt Mustang feature car which commemorates the 1968 fastback driven by Steve McQueen in the detective movie Bullitt, the scenes of which are shown at the top. In 2001, Highland Green was reserved only for this model; although the 2001 Bullitt also came in Black and True Blue. The original 1968 movie Bullitt Mustang was painted in 1968 Highland Green.

"I owned a Pontiac Grand Am prior to owning this Stang. My friend was heavy into the pony and I was around them so much that I decided to pick one up. I am now hooked. Nothing beats a muscle car (sound or power). This one was bone stock when I bought it. Now it has a BBK X-pipe, Flowmasters, BBK cold air intake, Diablo sport tuner, and a lot of exterior mods (as you can tell by the pictures)."

Here is a rare one. It's a little known fact that Ford did make a 2002 Cobra. They only made 100 units. All these were right-hand-drive and exported to Australia. You can just make out the steering wheel behind the windshield glare. Look behind the antenna.
