(from page 25 of the 1970 Collection) Gulfstream Aqua 1970 Mustang Shelby GT 350 fastback with gold stripes and a 300hp (at 5400rpm), 351 cubic inch, 4 barrel, Ram Air, V8 engine. This Glufstream Aqua color is a Shelby only color for 1970 since Shelby announced stopping Mustang Shelby production in 1969 and the remaining cars in work were finished in 1970 and sold as 1970 models even though they where essentially 1969 models.

Also new to the 1969-70 Shelby was the chrome strip which runs around the the outside of the flat black grille with offset cobra Shelby emblem. These black hood stripes differentiated the 1970 Shelbys from the 1969 models.

The 1965 Thunderbird sequential tail lights where used on all Shelbys between 1968 and 1970. The gas cap is behind the spring mounted license plate, thus the instructions on how to mount the license plate on the rear license plate bracket. Also notice the center rectangular rear dual exhaust, this was also new to the 1969-70 Mustang Shelby.
