(3 photos of a 1967 Lime Gold Green Mustang Hardtop) Lime Gold 1967 Mustang hardtop owned by Ceasar Delgado from Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. This is a 1967 Mustang coupe Deluxe Edition. It is one of 22,228 built. It was built in the Metuchen, New Jersey Plant (Plant Code T) in October of 1966. It was coded to be sent to a Ford Dealership in Jacksonville, Florida (DSO Code 24). It was registered in Puerto Rico by 1972 as a '1967 Mustang GT'. In 2000-04 was registered as a 1967 'LTD'! The price when new was around $3,500.00 (the dealer invoice was not available). Ceasar is the 4th owner and has owned the car since 2005. The car came with the Deluxe Package and Interior/exterior Decor Group which included: Exterior Visibility Group: Tail light Applique (ribbed panel), Rocker panel, taillight panel, and wheel well trim, black vinyl roof, Styled Steel wheels, deluxe mirrors, and hood signal lights. The interior has: dual tone seats Trim '6G' (light Ivy gold/medium Ivy Gold vinyl), the Interior Decor Group, brushed aluminum trim (dash and doors), floor and roof consoles, Door Courtesy Lights with Red and White Lens, 8-track stereo radio, factory air conditioning and more. The engine is a Code C, 289 CI, 200HP, 2BBC, with Autolite 2100 Original Carburetor (rebuilt in 1994 and 2011). The transmission is a Cruise-O-Matic C-4 Automatic (Code U). The engine has been converted to Electronic Ignition (still keep the original Points Ignition Assy). It has Hankook H725 Mileage Plus II 195/75R14 H725 tires, dual Exhaust, Dynomax Superturbo (13370) 14-inch mufflers with 2-inch pipes and curved chrome tips.

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting August 26, 2012. Bobby adds, "I bought the car new from the local Ford Dealer in August 1967. It is 90% original, no rust and no bondo. It was repainted in 2007, other than that it is original. I have a 1969 set of wheels on it, but I have the original wheels and wheel covers. The car has 67000+ miles on it. Always garage kept."

It was sent in by site visitor, Gary, who noticed that we didn't have any photos of a Limited Edition 400 Mustang. These photos were taken soon after purchasing it new in 1967. He purchased it for his soon-to-be wife from C. Bradshaw, Inc. in Harvey, Illinois. Thanks Gary! Gary tells us more, "It was a special gold color with black vinyl top. It had black leather bucket seats with a 289 V8 with auto transmission and a floor console shifter. It had a 'Limited Edition 400' emblem on each of the front fenders. Everyone thought that it meant 400 cubic inches, but actually it designated a limited edition model of 400 cars for the Chicago market. A very sharp car and fun to drive. We eventually traded it in for a new Ford Maverick (DUMB)."

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting March 30, 2014. Stuart tells us, "I bought it four years ago in Gilbert, Arizona. It has been a work in progress and now 100% restored. It has power steering/brakes, electronic ignition, under dash R-134 A/C, and original 200 cubic inch 6 cylinder with automatic transmission. Not a Daily driver. Taken to car shows and cruises only."

Salima tells us, "I owned this car since 2011. The car is a special colored car with a 6 digit D.S.O. According to the Marti Report it is one of two cars with these special package. They were identical twins which were bought by the same car dealer in Texas. The DSO for this car is 62-4073. The Dealer was; Jack Roach Ford, 3200 Bissonet, Houston Texas 77005. Salima found, "The 2nd owner told me he got the car in great shape back then with the original silver color and only had to repair the a/c, the convertible top, and do an inspection."

(11 photos of a 1967 Blue Mustang T-5 Fastback) Here is a rare one. It is a 1967 T-5 Fastback. Ford made 154 T-5 fastbacks for export to Germany. The "Mustang" name could not be registered in Germany, so Ford swapped to T-5 emblems and exported them. Check out the emblem on the fender behind the rear wheel. It says "T5 Ford". Check out close-ups in other pictures in this set. it was originally Sauterne Gold. It still has its original 289ci engine and 3.00 rear. The original T-10 four-speed manual transmission has been replaced with a new Tremec T5Z five-speed.

Don't wait - order now! Optional - choice of V8 engines, new 2-way cruise-o-matic Drive. And all this for $2451.46. We are the first to show you this series of newspaper articles from the Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio area featuring a newly discovered 1967 Mustang Limited Edition called the "Mustang Blazer". We found many advertisements in local newspapers from mid November through mid December 1966. All of them featured women; therefore, we think this limited edition Mustang was designed more for women. This advertisement was placed by several dealerships: Grantsville Motor Service, Gratton Ford, Shaffer Ford, Kowell Ford, and Jim Beamer Ford in the November 11th edition of the Cumberland Evening Times of Cumberland, Maryland. The Blazer option was also on the Ford Galaxie 500.

The colors may have been the three new revved-up shades of Tussy lipstick: Racy Pink, Shimmery Racy Pink Frosted, and Defroster. This ad is from the September 1966 edition of the Seventeen magazine. The date of this ad may explain the use of a 1966 Mustang in the photos.
