New to 1972 was the Convertible Decor Group exterior package which includes a honeycomb black grill with integral sport lamps, a color-keyed front spoiler bumper, color-keyed hood and fender moldings, black or argent lower bodyside paint with bright chrome molding, and wheel trip rings and hub caps. This Mustang also has the optional bodyside tape stripes in black (also available in argent).
