(from page 26 of the 2008 Collection) The tornado alley, specifically Kansas, has its own 2008 Mustang GT special model called the Twister Special. The Twister originally touched down in Kansas in 1970, then again in 1985, and now in 2008 but only in Kansas and only in Grabber Orange and only by R&A Motorsports. This special model GT has Foose 20 x 8.5 inch Wheel with "Twister Special" center caps, Pirelli Tires, lower ground effects blacked out, chin spoiler, widows peak shaker hood with stripe, functional shaker air intake with engraved "Twister Special" in scoop, centered headlight grille with the older tri-bar pony emblem, custom tail light panel, duck tail spoiler, embroidered "Twister Special" headrest covers. embroidered "Twister Special" floor mats, Ford Racing exhaust, hood struts, Glassback roof, C-pillar (rear quarter window) scoops, and a dash mounted vehicle identification plate. Click your heals together while saying, "I want to go home" three times to get to Kansas to purchase one.

(from page 28 of the 2008 Collection) This is a dealer created special model 2008 Lone Star Ford 2008 Mustang coupe. It's owned by Bob DeCamp from Arvada, Colorado. Bob tells us, "Built to rival the Steeda Mustang 350, this rare Silver Premium GT-R was highly upgraded at Sonic Automotive (FKA Lone Star Ford) in Houston, Texas before its original sale in 2008. It runs like it's supercharged: Cold air intake, 65mm throttle body, long tube headers, Flowmaster exhaust and SCT X4 tuner can add 90+ RWHP. This Mustang has amazing acceleration and cornering. It was recently tuned. Tires are great. My mechanic says it will need rear suspension bushings soon. I have the owner's manual and two keys/fobs, but I don't have the code for the entry keypad. Its rear seats fold down for entry into the trunk. Fun to drive! Way above average AutoCheck score (80 versus avg 59). Here is a list of the unique upgrades, totaling over $11,500: Gen 1 body kit, Hurst 5-speed short shifter, Roush cold air intake, BBK Power Plus Twin-62MM throttle body, 40lb fuel injectors (stock is 24lb), fuel pressure gauge (on engine), Hooker BlackHeart long tube headers, Flowmaster exhaust system, SCT X4 engine programmer, Eibach front and rear sway bars, SMR strut tower brace, Tokico performance suspension pkg (all wheels), Lakewood ladder traction bars, drilled and slotted brake rotors (all wheels), 20-inch Shelby Cobra chrome wheels (some blistering on the inner rim, see photo), Nitto NT420S tires, Sirius Satellite ready, Steeda chrome engine bay dress up covers, BBK aluminum engine cover - GT Black upper grille for center lights, Raxiom LED fog lights, push button start kit, chrome interior trim package, brushed aluminum tail light bezel, rear wheel mud flaps, custom fueling cover, heavy duty nylon felt-lined car cover, and PocketPod trunk storage units."

(from page 28 of the 2008 Collection) It has grille mounted fog lights like a Shelby. Under the hood is a 4.6L V8.
