(from page 13 of the 1972 Collection) This is a Maroon 1972 Mustang convertible with a black interior and black convertible top. Under the hood is a 302ci 2-barrel V8 engine. It has power steering, power brakes, and an automatic transmission. Ford called this color Maroon. I'd call it Burgundy.

(from page 13 of the 1972 Collection) Maroon 1972 Mustang convertible, right rear view. Nice!

(from page 13 of the 1972 Collection) This is the original 302ci 2-barrel V8 engine. How do I know it's a 302 with a 2 barrel? Because, it says 302-2V on the air cleaner.

(from page 13 of the 1972 Collection) It has a black leather interior with wood grain door inserts. The factory AM radio still works. The original clock on the console doesn't. It's only right twice a day.

(from page 13 of the 1972 Collection) The Data Plate tag is located in the driver's side door jamb. This Mustang was built in June of 1972. It's factory color was 2J for Maroon.

(from page 13 of the 1972 Collection) Green 1972 Mustang Mach-1 sportsroof with silver stripes and a green interior. It has color keyed spoiler/bumper, Mach-1 grille with sport lamps, high back bucket seats, color keyed racing mirrors, drivers side remote mirror, deluxe two-spoke steering wheel, 351ci 2V Cleveland engine, Mach-1 body side tape stripes, Select-Shift Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission, 2.75 non-locking rear axle, power steering, power front disc brakes, Selectaire air conditioning, AM radio, and tinted glass. This car has been repainted a green that does not match any of the 1972 standard Mustang colors.

(from page 13 of the 1972 Collection) Green 1972 Mustang Mach-1 sportsroof, left side view. Pretty cool with the black chin spoiler, black rear decklid spoiler, and black rear window louvers

(from page 13 of the 1972 Collection) Green 1972 Mustang Mach-1 sportsroof, left rear view. Nice.

(from page 14 of the 1972 Collection) Green 1972 Mustang Mach-1 sportsroof, front end view.

(from page 14 of the 1972 Collection) It has the 351ci 2-V Ram Air engine.

(from page 14 of the 1972 Collection) The interior is green. The seats are green, the carpet is green, the center console is green, the door panels are green, the headliner is green, and the dash is green.

(from page 14 of the 1972 Collection) Check out the gauges. We have idiot lights in the first pod. A fuel gauge in the small center pod. A 120mhp speedometer with a trip-odometer in the third larger pod.

(from page 14 of the 1972 Collection) The data tag is located on the rear edge of the driver's side door. It contains information about the car from when it was new. The color of 4P is for the Medium Green paint although it is now a much brighter green. Medium Green is actually more of a silver green.

(from page 14 of the 1972 Collection) Green 1972 Mustang Mach-1 fastback with silver stripes and a 351 Cleveland V8 under the hood.
