Check out this Emberglo 1966 Mustang GT convertible! This car was ordered with everything - big K-code engine, full GT package, and Pony interior. This car was a highlight of the 29th Annual Central Illinois Ford Day Show and Swap on June 6, 2010 in Bloomington, Illinois.

Here is a close-up of the Pony tooled leather seat backs. This is a super cool photo. I liked it so much that it became the cover shot for our 2011 Mustang Calendar.

We caught up with this Emberglow 1966 Mustang GT convertible at the Uftring Ford show in East Peoria at the end of the summer. I wanted to get shots of the rear end of the car with it's GT options. For some reason, I didn't walk all way around the car at the Bloomington show. The GT options on the rear include the GT lettering on the gas cap and cutouts in the rear valance panel for chrome exhaust tips.

In the trunk is an old polyglas double-redline tire mounted on a nice looking styled steel wheel.

This Emberglo orange 1966 Mustang convertible was at the 2010 Mustang roundup in the Tampa, Florida sun. It has steel styled wheels, Emberglo and white pony interior, and a nice V8 engine under the hood.

Rear right view of an Emberglo orange 1966 Mustang convertible. Emberglo metallic paint is amazing, in this view the color is a deep, almost red, orange; while the previous photo had the color a bright brownish orange. The through the rear valance dual exhaust was a common GT option in 1966.

This amazing Emberglo orange 1966 Mustang hardtop with steel styled wheels is our Attitude Of The Week for the week starting June 16th, 2013. Besides the steel styled wheels, this car has a parchment pony interior, and a 289 V8 under the hood. I photographed this car last year at the Mustang Round up car show in the Seattle area.

Rear left view of an Emberglo orange 1966 Mustang hardtop with steel styled wheels. Emberglo is my favorite color on classic Mustangs. You can see other classic Mustangs at the show in the background.
