Grabber Orange 1969 Mustang Shelby GT350 convertible owned by Jim Srp from Boerne, Texas. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting April 3, 2011. Jim adds, "Purchased two years ago. It is an original Colorado car and owned by the same family since 1980. Ford produced only four Grabber Orange convertibles and this is one of two four speeds. All original parts, drivetrain and motor and just completed a frame off restoration."

This is a Flower Power Red 1969 Limited Edition 600 Mustang fastback. As with all 600s this one has the standard 200ci 6-cylinder engine. It was originally bought in on June 19th, 1969 from Owen Ford in Vineland New Jersey for $2802. It was stock number M336. This Mustang still looks new! Only 508 Limited Edition 600s were produced. They only came in Flower Power Red or
Groovy Green.

The couple I have seen so far each have the hood scoop. The door data tag has a blank in the paint code indicating a special order paint (Flower Power Red in this case). This one has a DSO of 16-2783 (the 5 is for the axle). All Limited Edition 600's were in the 2783-2788 order range.

This is the base (standard) engine for the 1969 Mustang. It has 200ci and was rated at 115 horsepower.

Calypso Coral Boss 302 Mustang fastback with a black interior. This is #1012 out of 1628 units produced in 1969. Calypso Coral paint is a deep shade of orange. The "302" stands for the 302 cubic inch V8 engine under the hood. This was one of eight V8 engine offered on the 1969 Mustang.
