2000 Mustang Saleen S-281 coupe painted in Sunburst Gold. This is a factory one, number 00-168. It has the upgraded chrome 18x9 wheels in the front and 18x10's in the rear. The tires are Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 265/35/18's in front and 285/35/18's in the rear. This Saleen also has some body mods; carbon fiber hood, vents in front fenders, billet grille, and Hella projector fog lights.

This Limited Edition Millennium SVT Cobra Mustang was advertised but none were sold. Only the Cobra R Mustang was sold in 2000. This Limited Edition Millennium SVT Cobra Mustang was to come in a special exterior color named Mystic Gold, have round lower front facia driving lights and a rear fascia with "Cobra" embossed across its width. From looking at the 2000 SVT Cobra sales catalog, it appears that all Cobras were to have these rear fascia embossed letters but the 2000 Cobra R that was sold had Mustang embossed there. It would be cool to know if any of these cars where built or what paint was actually going to be used.

Here is a view of the Mystic Gold Limited Edition Mustang with the caption text from the sales brochure. The text reads, The SVT Cobra is distinguished from other Mustang models by elements including a unique hood, a front fascia with round driving lights and a rear fascia with "COBRA" across its width. Mystic Gold Clearcoat (shown below) will also be a Cobra exclusive. This special exterior color will have limited availability.

This is the full page of the 2000 SVT Cobra Mustang sales catalog which describes the Limited Edition Mystic Gold SVT Cobra Mustang. The text reads, ... A sixth color - Mystic Gold Clearcoat - will be available in limited numbers late in model year 2000. As with the pioneering Mystic Clearcoat which was available on the 1996 SVT Mustang Cobra, Mystic Gold Clearcoat achieves its color changing ability from a combination of pigment and refractive elements in the paint.
