Teresa Summerfield owns this Honey Gold 1965 Mustang hardtop. It's our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting January 1, 2012. Teresa had this to share, "Always wanted a 65 Mustang. When I decided to sell my motorcycle, I couldn't leave the spare garage empty and I certainly couldn't use the money from the sale of the motorcycle for anything but another toy. So it was decided. I knew I wanted Honey Gold and maybe I wasn't patient enough because I settled on a Honey Gold in need of a lot of work. Started looking in Feb of 2011 and found mine in June of 2011. My original budget is busted, but I don't think I have more in her than she's worth. Her name is Gracie Lou."

This is a Honey Gold 1965 Mustang hardtop. Honey Gold is a light shade of green. It has a green and white interior and a 2 bbl 289 V8 engine under the hood. The little emblem on the front fender (up by the head light) is a 289 V8 emblem.

Under the hood is this C-code 289 V8 engine. It is the base level V8 with the 2 barrel carburetor.

Bet you won't find many of these! It's the original window sticker that was on the car when it was new! It shows all the cool options this Mustang came with. That upgrade to the V8 engine cost $108 while the 4-speed manual added another $188.

Prairie Bronze 1965 Mustang hardtop wearing a set of nice chrome Cragar wheels. Cragar wheels were very popular. Getting a set of chrome rims was the first modification many did to their cars.
