Do you see anything unusual in this interior? It has a bench seat. Not many Mustangs were ordered with a front bench seat.

Another shot of the interior with that rare bench seat. The shifter handle is bent more than the non-bench seat version. This is so that it does not touch the seat when in 2nd or 4th gear.

Chris sends us this photo of his 1968 Rainbow of Colors Mustang hardtop in special order Dandelion Yellow exterior paint. This amazing car is our Attitude of the Week starting November 23, 2018. Chris says, "This Rainbow of Colors Dandelion Yellow promotion car has been in the family since brand new. My uncle owned the dealership where it was ordered for his sister in law. It has many desirable options including the original J Code 302, full Sprint B package, console, tinted glass, cruise-o-matic and others shown in the Marti report. The exterior was restored to original, and the motor has had many upgrades including Edelbrock intake and carb, Mallory distributor, MSD 6 ignition box and coil, comp cams magnum cam and roller tip rockers, hooker comp headers, flowmasters, and 2.5" pipes with dual tips."

Special Passionate Pink 1968 Mustang hardtop ordered as part of the February promotion to celebrate Valentine's Day. The
Mustang promotion ran the first four months of 1968 featuring a New Years January special gold paint, pink for Valentine's Day, a March St. Patrick's Day green, and Eastertime Coral in April. All
Mustangs where rumored to be built in San Jose (VIN starting with 8R) and ordered for the Denver area. This car was built in San Jose but ordered in Los Angeles under special order
. In 1968, the San Jose plant also built special order cars with this same pink paint (
West Coast promotion. The
cars were mainly ordered in the Los Angeles area, so this may be one of those cars instead.
