(from page 1 of the 1995 Collection) Close-up of the 1995 SVT cobra wheels. These wheels were introduced a year earlier on the 1994 Cobra.

(from page 1 of the 1995 Collection) A view of the hard convertible top in its stand. The top also came with a cloth storage cover.

(from page 2 of the 1995 Collection) Black 1995 SVT Cobra coupe owned by Alan Davis from Gloucestershire, Great Britain. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting May 22, 2011. Alan adds, "Originally sold by Summit City Ford, Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was exported 18 months later by the owner to England. It subsequently had several more owners before I acquired it in March 2006. The car is factory original and I intend to keep it that way. I have had the paintwork detailed and the alloys refurbished. I am a member of the Mustang Owners Club UK and attend as many shows and meets as I can with the car."

(from page 2 of the 1995 Collection) Another shot of Alan's Black 1995 SVT Cobra coupe. It has a gray rocker stripe with Cobra written in.

(from page 2 of the 1995 Collection) Black 1995 SVT Cobra coupe, left rear view.

(from page 2 of the 1995 Collection) This is a 5.0L V8 engine. It's rated at 240 horsepower.

(from page 2 of the 1995 Collection) The interior is black leather. It has the white SVT gauges and a manual transmission.

(from page 3 of the 1995 Collection) Rio Red 1995 Mustang SVT Cobra coupe with a Mustang D-code 240rpm (at 5000rpm), 5.0 liter (302ci), Cobra V8 engine.

(from page 7 of the 1995 Collection) This is a rare one! It's a Crystal White 1995 Cobra R coupe. Ford only made 250 Cobras in 1995. This is #145 of those 250. So, what is different on a Cobra R? How about the huge 5.8L (351 cubic inch) V8 under the hood! This engine is so big that the standard hood did not work. A special taller fiberglass hood was created. This baby was built for racing. It has a factory 20-gallon fuel cell, a engine oil cooler, and a power steering cooler. All Cobra R Mustangs were painted Crystal White with tan colored interiors.

(from page 7 of the 1995 Collection) Notice anything missing? Fog lights! Yes, they were left off at the factory to reduce weight. These cars were meant to be raced.

(from page 7 of the 1995 Collection) Take a look at this. It's a special C-code V8 built especially for the Cobra R. This engine is a 5.8L engine that pumps out 300 horsepower. It's a marine block with aluminum pistons, forged steel rods, GT-40 heads and special intake manifolds. This engine has a couple of modifications to the original configuration.

(from page 7 of the 1995 Collection) All 1995 Cobra Rs have this Saddle colored cloth interior. To save weight other components were deleted at the factory - air conditioning, radio, and the rear seat!

(from page 7 of the 1995 Collection) The top part of the dash and doors are black. Notice the blanking panel where the radio should be.

(from page 7 of the 1995 Collection) A close-up of the gauges in this 1995 Cobra R. Nothing out of the ordinary here - except the low gas tank. It would be hard to keep gas in the tank of this car.

(from page 7 of the 1995 Collection) Yes, the rear seat is deleted at the factory. Who races with backseat passengers anyway?

(from page 8 of the 1995 Collection) The owner moved the battery to the trunk for better weight distribution. This is a Moroso battery box.
