2000 Saleen S-281SC convertible with a custom Saleen paint called Speedlab Yellow. This paint added another $6,000 to the base price of this Saleen. This Saleen has the supercharger on it's 4.6 liter engine. It is a factory Saleen - serial number 937.

The "SC" part of of the Saleen S-281SC stands for SuperCharger! This supercharger adds 65 horsepower to the engine.

The firewall contains a Saleen ID plaque. It shows the build date of September 2000, serial number of 00-937, the last eight digits of the VIN, and the S-281 Saleen model number.

It's easy to get a good shot of the interior of a convertible. You can see the extra brake light contained in the optional sports bar. I wonder if it lights up when the top is up? If it did, I bet it would be pretty bright on the interior at night.

This is a 2000 Mustang Saleen S-281SC SuperCharged Speedster. It was a Saleen Factory conversion of a Mustang GT - serial number 443. It's a Speedster because it has the optional fiberglass tonneau cover over the rear seats.

Here are the center controls. You have climate controls at the top - including AC. A radio with cassette tape player in the middle. And a CD player at the bottom. See the Saleen Factory ID tag at the bottom? ID number 00-0443. The "00" part is for the 2000 model year. The "0443" is the sequential body number.
