(from page 42 of the 1968 Collection) Madagascar Orange 1968 Mustang Rainbow Of Colors Edition convertible owned by Bartek from Germany. This ROC has a Los Angeles (71) ordering district and a #0424 special order number. It has the 302-4V (J-code) engine, automatic transmission, 3.00 rear end, and deluxe interior scheduled for assembly at San Jose on December 11, 1967. Bartek is the third owner of this car. Bartek has confirmed from the second owner (purchased the car in 1971) that the car was originally Madagascar Orange from his friend who originally purchased the car. The first owner was a celebrity from the 50-60s - more on that later.

(from page 48 of the 1968 Collection) Corporate Yellow 1968 Shelby GT 500 KR Mustang convertible, left side view.

(from page 51 of the 1968 Collection) Take a look at this Sunlit Gold 1968 Mustang convertible with full wheel covers, side C-stripes, louvered hood, and a C-code 289ci V8 engine. Why is the top up? It's Seattle weather.

(from page 57 of the 1968 Collection) Gulfstream Aqua 1968 Mustang convertible with 12 slot GT styled full wheel covers, body side C stripe, and louvered hood. Under the hood is the original R-code, 428 cubic inch, Cobra Jet, V8 engine. I took this photo at the 2010 Port Angeles, Washington, Mustang car show.

(from page 62 of the 1968 Collection) Here is a view of the Dark Green 1968 GT500KR in the sun with the hood up showing off its R-code 428ci Cobra Jet V8 engine.

(from page 64 of the 1968 Collection) This GT-500 convertible looks good from this angle too.
