Looks like a 302 cubic inch V8 under the hood. This car originally came with a C-code, 200hp (at 4400rpm), 289 cubic inch, 2-barrel, V8.

Candy Apple Red 1967 Mustang GT hardtop owned by Ray from Minnesota. Ray restored and modified his GT back in 1994. It has the original 289ci block and a 4-speed manual transmission.

Rear view of a 1967 Mustang hardtop in Frost Turquoise paint. The gas cap comes off by turning it 90 degrees counter clockwise. A wire bail, introduced on the 1965 Mustang, was attached to avoid loosing the gas cap. The instructions below show how to attach the license plate.
