Check out this special order Black 1973 Mustang convertible. It's owned by David Fowler from Hendersonville, North Carolina. Yes, Black paint was a special order in 1973 - as black was not in the normal line-up of available paints. David adds, "There are traces of side stripes that might have been part of special order. It has the six digit DSO code (48-7359) and not paint color in door sticker. It sat in a garage for 13 years until I got it. It was Zebart coated so it is in pretty good shape." It was delivered to Jerry Bielfield Co Dealership in Detroit, Michigan. Factory options included the black power top with glass backlite, instrument group, E70x14 belted white sidewall tires, power steering, and tinted glass. The car was built in May of 1973.
