The VIN number for the 1968 Shelby is stamped on a plate riveted to the top of the dashboard on the passenger's side. Two other locations are on the top upper flange of the right and left front fender apron which is visible only with the hood closed and on the warranty plate riveted into the driver's door. This tag shows this car to be the 193185th Ford car out of the T Metuchen, NJ, plant; and the 2086th Shelby for 1968. For more information on the VIN numbers see the Shelby VIN data explorer.

Wimbledon White 1968 Shelby Mustang GT-500KR with a black interior and dual blue racing stripes. It's dataplate says 63B for fastback body style, M for the Wimbledon White paint, 5AA for the black interior, 18U for the 18th of July, and U for the C-6 automatic transmission.

It must be incredible with the top down.
