Tangerine 1978 Mustang II hatchback with a 4-cylinder engine and a manual transmission. This one has cool factory T-Top roof glass. This was Ford's alternative to the elimination of the convertible body style.

The hatchback was one of two body styles offered on the Mustang in 1978. The hatchback has this huge top hinged door containing the trunk lid and rear window glass. It was also called the 3-door body style.

This amazing custom 1978 Calypso Coral orange 1978 Mustang II King Cobra II was at the 2010 Mustang Round-up car show in Bellevue, Washington. This car has 1987 Mustang turbine style wheels.

View of the custom V8 engine of which I would guess is a 351ci. Hopefully the owner can give us more information on this amazing car. Originally the 1978 King Cobra came with the F-code, 302ci (5.0 liter), 2-barrel, V8 engine.
