The 2008, Mustang Bullitt, H-code, 315hp (325ft-lbs of torque), 4.6 liter, 3 valve, V8 engine with a special high performance air filter and special tower brace. The tower brace is designed specifically for the Bullitt to add torsional and lateral stiffness to the chassis for improved cornering. The Mustang Bullitt also has Bullitt special H-pipe dual exhaust.

It was overcast when I took this photo. Highland Green was so dark, I thought it was black until I got the photos home. The 2008 Mustang Bullitt was also available in Black exterior paint.

So, what are the standard features on a 2009 Mustang Bullitt? They start with a GT Premium coupe with a manual transmission. They then add: specially designed CIA and strut tower brace for Bullitt by Ford Racing, high performance engine calibration, Performance Friction Carbon Metallic front brake pads, sport tuned suspension (shocks/springs/stabilizer bar), modified tuned "H" exhaust pipe, 3.73 limited slip rear axle, dark gray brake calipers, 18-inch euro-flange Bullitt wheels with the charcoal satin finish, tire inflation kit provided in lieu of space-saver mini spare, 3-1/2 inch packed exhaust tips, a bare upper grille without fog lamps or Pony badge, Bullitt emblem on faux fuel cap, black Interior with upgraded steering wheel, sport leather trimmed seats, a exclusive gunmetal engine turn patterned instrument panel finish, aluminum interior accents (ball shifter/sill plate/pedal covers), and the spoiler delete.

The engine is the 4.6L V8. Check out the special Ford Racing CIA (Cold Air Induction) and strut tower brace. The CIA and performance calibration yields another 19 horsepower on the 300 horsepower GT engine. This is call the Racing Power Upgrade.
