The 1967 Shelby Mustang came in 10 colors, 9 of them where standard 1967 Mustang colors, but this was the one that was not. This is 1967 Thunderbird Charcoal Gray (paint code M1900) exterior paint which was also used on the 1967 Lincoln.

Dale tells us more, "I purchased this from original owner in 2006, but blew a rod on drive back to Memphis! Replaced block before bringing home. Repainted August 2009. My wife had bought an original Mustang II in 1974 but it rusted out!"

Craig says, "I bought this Mustang in 1984 as a car to drive to college. After the first year I drove it, the body was redone and it never saw another winter. After my kids were born, it was put away and is sitting in a barn waiting for them to finish college." It has been repainted to Medium Forest Gray. The guy said it was undriveable due to tie rods, but it ran good. The original motor and trans runs great. I had to 'customize' the exhaust, add new window, new tie rods. and front shocks. I still need to get to rear shocks."

The previous owner bought it a year earlier as a standard Mustang and did quite a bit of work on it. The rims are 18" XXR 527's in black chrome staggered fitment 8.5 on front with 265/35x18 Accelera PH1's and 10" on rear with 285/35x18 Pirelli P Zero Rosso's, with Focus RS Brembo 4 pot front brake conversion. I have replaced the discs with 330mm drilled and slotted ones, and EBC yellowstuff pads as the standard discs were warping. Pypes performance 'X pipe' (imported from states) from factory headers to straight thru Flowmaster silencers and stainless tail pipes. Full MSD ignition upgrade with Blaster coil. SR cold air feed inlet kit. LED projector lights. I have added a grille as it looked odd without one! Also added the roof and boot stripes which I think finish it off perfectly."

Roger has this story to share, "I owned a Pontiac Grand Am prior to owning this Stang. My friend was heavy into the pony and I was around them so much that I decided to pick one up. I am now hooked. Nothing beats a muscle car (sound or power). This one was bone stock when I bought it. Now it has a BBK X-pipe, Flowmasters, BBK cold air intake, Diablo sport tuner, and a lot of exterior mods (as you can tell by the pictures)."

Kevin explains, "I scored this 02 GT with 60K in 06 for $3200 needing collision repair. It had a 2-inch Eibach suspension lowering kit and a very rude Magnaflow exhaust system. Since I already had 2001 Cobra front and rear bumper covers as well as a 2001 Cobra hood, I decided to Cobra Clone it. I also attached the factory GT hood scoop to the Cobra hood to give it an individual look. There were minor bolt on upgrades to the motor and the rear differential and the transmission is a stock Tremec with Ford Motorsports clutch setup."
