(from page 8 of the 1964 Collection) Perry's 1964 Musrtang at the globe used for the 1964 Worlds fair. Perry's Mustang was a also used by FoMoCo for the reveal of the 2005 Mustang and for the 40th anniversary. It was displayed as the representative 1964 convertible at World Headquarters for the 50th anniversary of the Mustang. This car has been on display for two years at the Piquette Museum in Detroit, the first Henry Ford Model T manufacturing plant. It was also displayed at the Ford Product Development Center show in Prototype row for the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang.


(from page 8 of the 1964 Collection) This blue 1964 Mustang GT with a D-code 289ci V9 under the hood is owned by Bill Andrews of Ontario, Canada. Bill says, Vehicle was purchased in 1983 just prior to my 16th birthday. It was factory equipped with the 289 D code which is on my engine stand. The vehicle currently has a 1989 5.0L with a B303 cam, DP 4 V with a Paxton Novi supercharger. I have also upgraded the braking system with Wilwood front disc and a dual bowl master cylinder.

This particular engine was only offered on the Mustang in 1964. The door data tag of this car reads: 76A convertible body style with standard seats, B Pagoda Green exterior paint, 86 black vinyl seats, 25F scheduled for assembly on the 25th of June 1964, 1 3.00:1 rear axle ratio, and 5 4 speed manual transmission. This car was originally ordered in the Ohio area. The steel styled wheels are not original to this car.


(from page 1 of the 1965 Collection) This beautiful 1965 factory correct Caspian Blue Mustang hardtop owned by David Hammer of Yukon, Oklahoma, was our Attitude Of The Week for 4-20-2008. David writes: "I bought this car from a man in Mustang Oklahoma in 2005. I took it to a body shop and had some minor dents removed and had it painted. It has an upgraded heavy duty T5 transmission, power windows, American Racing Nitro wheels, trunk carpet kit, engine dress up kit, lighted door sill plates, chrome alternator, chrome Monte Carlo bar, chrome export brace, high back reclining bucket seats, Ford Motorsport electronic ignition, Edelbrock aluminum performer intake, Flex-a-lite 6 blade radiator fan, Hooker headers, GT Grant custom steering wheel, Phantom 6 gauge instrument cluster, polished aluminum distributor, Ford racing dipstick, chrome Ford Motorsport valve covers, chrome shock tower caps, headlight grille ornaments, rocker panels, wheel well molding and many more little modifications." Also available for download is a 1024 by 768 pixel wallpaper and a 1500 by 1000 pixel wallpaper of this photo.

The T-5 was name for the Mustang as it was sold in Germany. This one has a 200ci 6-cylinder engine and a manual transmission.
